From Eastern Road at the top of Naseby Forest, Heaphy Highway flows easily through clearings and forest on its way past the Mount Ida Water Race toward the Naseby town cemetery below. A ride up Translator Road and descent down Heaphy Highway to the water race makes an outstanding introduction to Naseby singletrack, with enjoyable flowing riding throughout.
