There is plenty of snow during the winter that will prevent normal mountain bike travel. Dogs also need to be on leash at all times.

Description

NOTE: A section of the Michigan Ditch Trail is closed for summer 2016 for a water tunnel project. See the following City of Fort Collins web site for more detail:
fcgov.com/utilities/what-we…

This easy bike ride follows a service road that goes along the Michigan Ditch. This ditch provides water to farmers along the front range since the 1880's. The trail provides great views of Nokhu Crags, Diamond Peaks, and the surrounding area.

The service road begins at the top of Highway 14. Cross the street and look for a gate in front of a service road. The trail is this service road for a water ditch and ends just below Lake Agnes.

There are new technical features along this trail and a few different trails that branch off to extend your ride. Have fun!
