Description

The Allsopp Park trails consists of a north loop and a south loop. To go from one to the other, you have to cut through a neighborhood (Beechwood is usually the best road to take).

The trail is mostly singletrack, and is very rocky, rooty, gravelly, with many climbs and descents, and a some short technical sections thrown in. Some of the rocks are sharp, so be sure to have a spare tube as flats are somewhat common out here. It's easier ridden in a clockwise direction.

There are also several connector trails and feeder trails that link the main outer loop to the playground/ballfield/tennis courts.

The south loop can be accessed in a variety of places (the playground, Kavanaugh/Rose St, Fairview Rd, and Beechwood St. This is a multi-use trail, so there are often hikers/runners/dogs on the trail as well. Keep your speed in check!
