The most remote section of the Explorer Trail at Rope Mill Park.

Overview

The trail is directional according to the day of the week. Refer to the following map for details: static.squarespace.com/stat…

Description

To access this portion of Explorer Trail, ride the first half of Explorer Trail - Loop 1 and Explorer Trail - Loop 2. This trail climbs up one side of a bluff overlooking Little River, descends the backside and then comes back up and over to return to the trailhead.

Portions of this trail are quite exposed and offer a slightly nerve-racking view of the river. The trail also features a couple of rock-over features and tight switchbacks, making it unsuitable for beginning riders.
