Description

Waterfall Creek Trail is a motorized trail that is probably more popular with motorbikes than it is with mountain bikers. With this in mind, the trail can be washed out, rutted and braided at times. It also makes for a rather poor uphill ride due to the condition of the trail and it's steepness at times.

It can be accessed from Trail 405 (Double Top) or at the bottom just off the Upper Cement Creek Trail.

One of the best downhills in Crested Butte with a different flavor vs most others. Wider with many line choices, loamier, more downhill and little to no traversing or exposure, with many interesting technical rooty and rocky sections. There are a few deep trenches from moto use but overall I thought this trail was one of the best I've ridden anywhere. Difficult relative to others in the area but overall I'd call it a single diamond trail fit for enthusiastic intermediate riders and above. I'd make it a point to hit this trail again when I'm back in CB! Jul 2, 2018
