Fast, flowy, yet still technical singletrack with some coast-like loamy soil and skinny wooden bridges due to the wet meadows. A-typical trail conditions to the dry loose soil pack of the front range - a rare treat!

Park at the entrance to Brainard Lake State Park, free of charge.

This trail can be ridden either direction, from the Brainard Gateway Trailhead North to South Saint Vrain Trail or as a return connector from South Saint Vrain Trail back to Brainard Lake road and parking.

Starting from the Brainard Gateway Trailhead, enjoy low grade sustained climbing up to the meadows.

As a connector, enjoy the constant low grade descent back to the road. A great way to finish the North Sourdough and St. Vrain Loop.
