Description

Starting where Elk Meadow ends, continue across the forest service road and onto a doubletrack road. There will be a campsite immediately on your left. In another 50 yards or so, this trail will turn into singletrack as you pass under the high-tension power lines.

Shortly after you duck back into the woods, the trails gets relatively steep as you start climbing. There are a few rocks and trees, but nothing too terribly technical. Eventually you pop out on the forest service road again, but stay left to keep on the singletrack.

Finally you pop out on CR 72. Cross the road to where an old service road is now blocked off with big log blockades. There is a bit of singletrack around this blockade, a sign with "Christina" painted on it, and the trail continues to parallel the road. Eventually you'll pop out on Sunken Bridge where you can continue up to CR 725.
