A short trail that cuts across the hill from City Creek to Burrito.

Description

This is an easy going trail that cuts across the hill from Upper City Creek Trail to Burrito. Cross-cut rides through the sage and follows an old Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) contour cut built across the hill in the late 30's early 40's.

Beginners may want to head up the Bench Trail, hook to Cross-cut and drop down into the Upper City Creek Trail to avoid the obstacles, primarily the climb. This detour is also a nice way to avoid heavy some of the traffic in the City Creek trails.
