Description

Chantilly Trail begins high up Summit County Road 450, Forest Hills Drive in the Huron Heights neighborhood. The trail begins on an old fire road at a post near the top of the road on the east side of SCR 450. The trail contours, eventually crossing Gold Run Road.

From this point to the top, the trail becomes progressively steeper. The trail ends at the eastern end of the Western Sky Trail on a paved road.

Chantilly Trail is south facing and dries early in the season. It also passes through a number of aspen groves, making it a good late season option as well. This trail can be a useful bailout when caught too late in the Golden Horseshoe.
