This trail is just one among many in Susanville Ranch Park. It starts above park property and flows with features and berms for 4 miles of downhill fun.
This line is one of several recommended downhill routes in Susanville Ranch Park. The actual start of the Super D Course is above park property and follows an old logging trail that riders have improved. The first section is the fastest, as it cruises down the fall line for a while.
Once in the park, the trail changes into a rolling contour trail with wood features, jumps, and berms. This area is called "The Boneyard." After The Boneyard, riders drop into Middle West
, which rides fast, but flows with a lot of undulation, meander, and berms. After Middle West
, the course keeps flowing onto Lo Go
. Lo Go
has 3 gap jumps back to back, berms, and a short but sweet, steep climb just before Heart Attack. Heart Attack is 98% downhill and is really, really fun to ride. When I get to the bottom of this course, I often forget that I can still keep riding downhill into the lower part of Susanville Ranch Park. Good times :)
