Rigor Mortis parallels Kinsey trail and in some places the two are only a few feet apart.

Rigor is slightly more difficult because it crosses the arroyos a bit further downhill where they are deeper and more gravelly.

To reach the trailhead, take Foothills Drive north until it intersects Colibri Place. Parking is prohibited in this area on school days from 7 am to 5 pm. Additional parking can be found where there are no signs, including along Colibri Place to the west.
