Description

Frosty's is one of the original Breckenridge Ski Area trails. It connects the top of Pioneer to Sawmill Creek Road and Wanderer. The upper half was realigned which improved the trail's ability to be climbed. Access near the top of Pioneer, just below the top of the Colorado Superchair. Climb through four switchbacks to an access road. Turn left and descend the access road towards Chair 6.

Just uphill of the chairlift base, the singletrack trail continues on the left. Descend 3/4 mile through six switchbacks, passing the Edge Trail on the left in the third switchback. At the bottom of the singletrack descent, turn left onto Sawmill Creek Road and descend to Wanderer.

Frosty's is a descent, somewhat challenging climb if one is insistent upon climbing the ski area on a busy, summer weekend.

The trails at Breckenridge Ski Resort, Peak 8 descending from the lift that require some climbing back to the lift (including this trail) are little frequented by lift-serviced riders.
