“A new trail - the only singletrack in the area. New sections being added soon.
”
This trail is privately owned and maintained by Moose River Outpost (www.mooseriveroutpost.org). Please check in at the camp office (you can't miss it on your way in) before riding. No drinking or smoking on property. Access to camp buildings, waterfront, or other grounds is prohibited by the property owner.
Description
From Rt. 201, look for the wooden "Moose River Outpost" sign. Follow private road in for 3 miles. Welcome Center and parking lot can be found on your right. Park and check in at the camp office. If office is unattended, just grab your bike and hit the trail. Trail crosses a road labeled "to North Lodge" just uphill of the parking lot.
The primary loop can be found uphill and to the west of the road crossing. Downhill, and toward the lake, is a very short and easy twisting singletrack run, good for checking your equipment or just stretching your legs.
Property owner requests that no cyclists leave the trail to access any camp buildings, docks or other grounds. Please respect this request so that we can retain use of this small, but growing trail system -- the only singletrack for miles!
