Description

May Creek Trail, if accessed from the May Creek Campground, is a great intermediate out-and-back ride.

Beyond May Cabin the trail becomes more difficult to follow and is often heavily vegetated but can be ridden all the way to the Continental Divide Trail along Anderson Mountain Road.

May Creek Trail can also be ridden as a part of larger loops as it is part of the Chief Joseph Trail System and is near the Ruby/Stephenson Trail.

Winter sees snowshoe and ski traffic to the Cabin and the trail is often great for fat bikes. This is especially true during late winter/early spring when the snow is sun-crusted.
