The Ridge offers up a more challenging and technical ride than many of the other trails at Hartman Rocks. Start by riding Tailpipe from Road 3505b. At the end of Tailpipe directly across Road 3515, you'll see a sign for The Ridge.

The trail starts with a short climb with several tricky moves through slickrock and other various rock features. In a short while you'll find yourself riding along the top of a ridge that is fairly rocky at times. For a second you might not feel like you're in the high desert with the fantastic views of Gunnison and the lush green golf course below. Try not to get distracted here as it's a long way down into the valley. Eventually the trail gets smoother as you descend down with some fun Whoop-De-Dos and flowy fast turns.
