Description

Starting at the intersection with Upper Oregon Gulch (Edge of the World) and Lower Oregon Gulch, Oregon - Fox Connector begins instantly with a creek crossing which leads into a brutal climb. Only the hardiest will ride this first section, as most riders will find this a hike-a-bike. After a while, the trail slightly mellows and leads into multiple switchbacks. Don't misjudge this climb, it's steep!

The "steep" theme continues as Oregon - Fox Connector starts to descend. Keep your wits about you as the surface is incredibly loose and rocky. At the time of our riding (July 2014) there were some tree crossings, however the trail improves the further you go. As the descent starts to mellow, the soil becomes more loamy/tacky. With this new found traction, open up the speed and enjoy the technical rock moves that lead into the trail's termination at an intersection with Chocolate Gulch Trail.
