Overview

Super fun, fast, and flowy singletrack! No real sustained hills, mostly shorter little climbs. Somehow, the trail makes it feel like you descend more than you climb. Soil composition varies from hardpack to looser soil with some rocks. The trail drains very well after rain. Overall, really fun to ride for various levels of abilities!

Need to Know

You'll need a WI State Park sticker on your car and a trail pass for you. Or you can buy a day pass at the trailhead.

The trails are single direction.

Description

The trail begins out of the northwest corner of the parking lot. Loop 1 dumps you directly into Loop 2, Loop 2 dumps you directly into Loop 3. You can continue on Loop 3 for a shorter length trail, or take the turn for Loop 4 for the full 5.5 miles.

Lots of flow for a random trail in the middle of Wisconsin!

This section of pine forest is a flat, but slightly rooty part of the trail.

After a short but steep climb, you're greeted by this beautiful stand of birch trees.

The dirt is great on all loops! One small downed tree to carry the bike over fairly early on. 8.3mi — 1h 15m

Nothing too technical, a few short climbs look harder than they are. Good speed in a few spots. Not much for features. 6.2mi

Better than Greenbush IMO. Fast, fun, & flowy with areas you can really build up speed. My favorite course in the West Bend area. Some puddles about. 5.5mi — 1h 20m
