Description

This area is great for beginners and families. There is some singletrack but mostly it is old doubletrack with very moderate grades.

Heading east (counter-clockwise) on singletrack you'll encounter the only chunky tread which is about 20 feet long. Other than that it is smooth riding as the trees open up into meadow. At the east end are some swooping turns and then the trail heads back west gradually climbing on old doubletrack.

Please watch out for and be courteous towards hikers and equestrians.

Could be used as a first MTB ride to be followed by Otero Canyon as skills develop.
