Description

Point Lookout is a newly commissioned trail that was recently completed in 2014. This trail replaces the old section of 405 (Doubletop) that was severely eroded and barely ride-able on a mountain bike which ran from 409 to 409.5. Since the completion of this trail and the many improvements on 409 itself, it becomes a fantastic trail to access 409.5 or ridden as an out and back.

The views up and down the valley are stellar as you climb or descend Point Lookout. Make sure to stop plenty to soak in the fantastic views and wildflowers and enjoy some brand new singletrack in Crested Butte.
