This trail connects Fort Yargo Inner Loop and Fort Yargo Outer Loop to the city of Winder. There is plenty of free parking here except when the Barrow Recreation Center is having ball games. The trailhead is to the right as you enter the rec center, next to the tennis courts.

Being so close to downtown, it's a great way to visit local restaurants. Turn right coming out of the parking lot, and there is a shopping center at the top of the hill.

The trail crosses the Outer Loop, then continues to the Inner Loop. If you want to ride the Outer Loop, be sure to observe directional signs -- it varies by day.

The trail is usually pretty grown up between the outer and inner loops. Use Boys Home Road to bypass this section.

Park here if you want to bike the inner or outer loops without paying for parking. Be sure to pick up a bike permit at the park office first if you don't have an annual bike pass. If the office is closed, no permit is needed. Closure time varies by season.
