A fun afternoon ride with great views of the Snake River.

Overview

Description

Sidewinder is a great up-and-back singletrack trail. It's not too steep but it is a continuous climb to the top. The trail is well-maintained and is permitted for motorcycle travel.

It's not very technical although the narrow switchbacks can be tricky on the downhill. It's one of the first trails to open in the early spring.

The trail is accessed just to the left of the Stinking Springs Canyon Trailhead.

No real obstacles but this is still a fun downhill with tight corners. We did it as a quick loop going up Stinking Springs and down Sidewinder. 2.6mi — 0h 18m
