Description

From the Horseshoe Gulch/Tiger Dredge Trailhead, head north through piles of rocks (tailings from the mining dredge boats of the early 1900's), then pass through a small wetland. Once on dry ground, cross the Colorado Trail and continue climbing through meadows.

Once you reach the high point, you'll intersect with Blair Witch Trail and Hay Trail. From here, those are better options, as this trail now descends very steeply on somewhat loose ground. It's an okay descent, but would be a lousy climb. It is pretty in this section though, and quickly ends at Soda Creek Trail.
