Watch for construction in this area as the Munising Bay Trail Network and city will be developing a larger trail system in this area.

This trail is the start of a major trail Building project by the Munising Bay Trail Network and the City of Munising. The ride starts from the corner of Jasper road and M-28 (the green space next to hillside party store across the street from the softball field on the west side of Munising.) The best place to park is in the green space this is going to be the future site of a trailhead.

Current mileage is only two miles. Though short, this trail is a workout and a lot of fun. After a steep dirt road climb the real fun begins with about 2 miles of flowing singletrack.

This trail traverses city land on top of the hills surrounding Munising. the trail is looped and can be ridden multiple times, or can be linked with two tracks to allow almost limitless exploration.

Please contact the Munising Bay Trail Network if you are interested in helping to expand this trail system!

Sandy but fun none the less. They are building a nice flow trail with some bridge and rock features which should add to the attraction in the future. 1.7mi

Getting forecast...

This trail is currently out of commission due to logging damage. We hope to have the back and better than ever summer 2016. Oct 14, 2015

The trail has expanded into a bike park with the addition of a 1500 ft jump trail and 1000 ft skills loop with multiple ride on/over options. Check it out the next time your in Munising....you won't regret it. Jun 16, 2017

Difficulty finding start so I decided to Jump on the newly built trail section across from the Lutheran Church. No bridge yet, but the kind trail crew encouraged me to explore. Landed on trail at the top of the ridge. Found the skills course and a fun ride back down to my car, which was probably illegally parked off a snow mobile trail. Jul 21, 2017
