Open 7am to 10pm everyday. No bicycles in Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Shore Acres Township Park is multi-use; yield to other users.

Description

The trailhead and kiosk are located in the southwest corner of the dirt parking lot. One way singletrack winds around the perimeter of the open space within Shore Acres Township Park, featuring short climbs and descents through the forest.

Rolling trail segments, plentiful berms, and tight, technical tree sections that flow into an evolving skills area in the center of the open space of park.

Enjoy the views of the Felt Mansion, soak up the panorama of the entire park from the starting hill of the skills area, and take your own pace for as many, or as few, laps around the park.

Venture into the skills area where there are large tabletops for the advanced users, and smaller rollers for those looking to hone in their bike handling skills.

The trail is open year round, from 7am to 10pm. When driving west on 138th Ave into the park area, take a left at the fork in the road to Shore Acres.

Switchback climb is 80% sand. Most fast berms are sandy as hell too. It was tough to maintain speed 2mi
