Area between the green metal gates is closed from Dec 1 to April 15 (or April 30th some years) to protect winter deer and elk

Description

Take the Carbon Junction Trail to the intersection with Crite's Connect and Sidewinder. Sidewinder is the trail to the right and climbs north to intersect with Telegraph and Crite's Connect. There are many different trail options along the way and most intersections are well marked with trail maps.
