Silky-smooth singletrack that rides just as well up as it does down.

Overview

Description

From the Hermosa Creek campground, follow the main road after the gate and look for the trail on your right. This is a great out and back ride. Be aware of dirt bikers who usually go up Jones in route to Dutch Creek.

Getting forecast...

The elevation map on this is incorrect and should be reversed. In other words, from the TH shown on the map you are climbing for four miles and not descending. The descent is the reward for the climb! Also, you can add on more by taking a right where Jones connects with Pinkterton-Flagstaff, which I highly recommend. Take this climb to a ridge about a mile after the intersection and you get even more great single track. Jun 7, 2016
