The elevation map on this is incorrect and should be reversed. In other words, from the TH shown on the map you are climbing for four miles and not descending. The descent is the reward for the climb! Also, you can add on more by taking a right where Jones connects with Pinkterton-Flagstaff, which I highly recommend. Take this climb to a ridge about a mile after the intersection and you get even more great single track.
