Overview

Trails close for 24 hours after rain.

Description

The trail starts to the northeast of the kiosk behind the concession stand on the side of a fairly steep hill. The trail mostly climbs, with the exception of one short bermed downhill section. As you make your way to the northeastern most point of the trail where it doubles back you are rewarded with a short, speedy downhill run with a few small jumps on the way back to the parking lot.

Once you reach the clearing, stay close to the tree line and the second section of the trail begins on the right. This part of the trail runs parallel with the Little Sugar Creek and is quite scenic. The trail is short, but filled with many technical options including: rock gardens, a really nice creek crossing, highlighted by a fairly large wooden jump and two insane tree skinnies.

This trail opened in late 2013 and still needs considerable traffic to break her in.

This trail has received some TLC this year, it's sort of 'BYT Lite', a fun trail with less of the demanding technical aspects of BYT.
