Description

Trail #146: The Eve's Gulch drainage was severely burned in the Castle Rock Fire, and a majority of this trail was re-routed in 2009. The new trail makes several looping switchbacks up a long 1,400-foot climb and is often thought of as one of the best mountain bike rides in close vicinity to Ketchum. The trail eventually connects to an old mining road and descends the West Fork of Warm Springs Creek, but we recommend riding it as an out-and-back for the best ride experience.

You'll cross the creek many times (usually by skinny bridges), wander in and out of forests, meadows, and burn areas. Views are exceptional as you get higher.

Expect smooth and fast riding (despite a lot of vertical it's never very steep) on this very popular trail - be careful of others!
