Description

This short loop is on property owned by the Rock Church of Gainesville. The trails are maintained by local volunteers and feature twisting singletrack with plenty of roots to rattle your teeth. There are some wooden man-made features (see-saw, wooden rollers, etc).

Parking is found in the field as you drive in on your left. There are no amenities. NO Restrooms. NO water.

This is the perfect "newbie" course. I'm not much of a mountain biker but the first time I rode The Rock I didn't put my foot down one single time. It is extremely flat, only difficult section is one off-camber trail next to the "bridge" and its not really that hard--just pedal through it. Clint Gibbs is the chief trailkeeper out here . . . he does a fine job. Apr 29, 2014
