Description

The pepper trails are a great way to introduce kids or less experienced riders to typical riding found around Salida. These trails are nice and short and can be taken either way to make a few different loops.

Poblano has a small rock garden to test handling skills without worrying about falling off the mountain.

The sun really beats down on these trails meaning they are clear most of the winter, but can be hot in the summer.

When riding up 177 towards the water tower, there is a closed gate that can be ridden around to get to the start of this trail (near Burnpile) if you don't want to start out on Sgt Pepper.

Stay on the trail to avoid goat-head stickers!
