A nice ride west of grindstone lake in Ruidoso.

Overview

A very nice trail. The start of the trail has some small obstacles the rest is awesome! lots of climbing at the beginning but at treat 3/4 way in down hill. Lots of switch backs on this trail. Very nicely maintained congrats Ruidoso on this one.

Description

Right around the top of the trail 2 miles in there will be access to other trails to the west. There is a good trail map at the parking area. The upper trails are color coded. This is the primary trail..Enjoy!

A glorious ride in the cooler mountains of the Lincoln National Forest as opposed to the heat further southwest. 6.7mi
