Hillside traverse on the south slopes of S Mountain.

Description

Tenderfoot traverses the southern slopes of S Mountain. The trail is skinny singletrack that connects Backbone with Spiral Dr.

Tenderfoot descends slightly at first to a small drainage and then traverses the hillside back towards Salida. There is one section of rocks to navigate, it's a good test of timing your pedal strokes between rocks.

Tenderfoot makes a good short loop in combination with Lil' Rattler and the first part of Backbone.

Trail still in ok shape, but some shorter sections are washed out by the flash flooding earlier in the week.
