Description

The Ogden Mine Railroad was a connector once used to move iron ore from the many mines along the route down to Lake Hopatcong. Today the route runs along the Western edge of Mahlon Dickerson and serves little more than a beginner / family friendly option and a connector for the many more challenging trails throughout the park. To the North the route offers nice views of the adjacent swamps and to the South, Weldon Brook Lake.
