Overview

Description

This is a short climb that includes a lookout along a ridgeline before a stepdown and the only switchback located on the Talldega trail. The trail ends at Stebbins Road (for now), which you take to get to the 3-mile downhill sections that end at the Anniston trailhead.

maybe I am wrong but I think the maps on the trails are labeled Talledega all the way up to Trillium. I rode Talledega singletrack all the way through Trillium until I turned around and headed back down chilowee. On this map it looks like you ride on a road but I found only great singletrack. Great rocky climb up talledega followed by amazing flowing ups and downs on trillium. superb scenery! Jan 19, 2017
