This section of trail is comprised of a couple of different pieces that make for a challenging and exciting ride with the reward of two very memorable vistas. Riders can pick up the trail out of the upper campground of Sidie Hollow and quickly have the option of a lengthy "log ride feature" or an alternate route. Another segment is littered with rock obstacles while twisting down toward a scenic view of the Bad Axe River. Wind back up a short, steep climb and then head right back down another fast shoot to the second overlook. Der Oberlken is one of the more technically challenging segments of trail found in the region. It connects to The Bobby and Bake Sale.

Sidie Hollow County Park is 521 scenic acres, including a 40-acre lake formed as part of a flood control dam. Vernon Trails has designed and developed a shared-use, natural surface trail system that surrounds the lake, trout streams, and campgrounds.
