The entrance to this trail crosses a walking path used by disc golfers. Slow down and use caution when entering the trail.

Description

Enter Falkor after exiting Heisenberg and get ready for over half of a mile of speedy singletrack through the densest section of the woods that Acadiana Trails has to offer.

The entire tract is situated in the lowest lying portion of the woods, so you may encounter more than a couple small puddles and muddy sections. The muddiest areas have narrow decks crossing them, so try your best to balance on these in order to preserve the natural ground.

Continue through the switchbacks and keep your eyes on the ground! But if you have a moment to pause (and I advise that you do), take a look around you to see the 100-year old cypress and live oak trees towering above you!

Upon exiting Falkor, you'll come upon a bench and sitting area located on the walking path. This marks the halfway point for the Acadiana Park Mountain Bike Trails, so take a breather before jumping back into the woods on Larp.
