A fast, weaving singletrack that threads the side of a steep hillside.

Description

This is A-Line, a really fun, cliff-edge thriller. The singletrack splits off of Peppergrass trail. It weaves, bobs, and tip-toes along the edge of steep drops, eventually cutting across Peppergrass again. Continue through and after a few more edges look for a chain-link cage on your left. 20 yards after the cage on the left is an access road down to Friends Ave, or Beverly Blvd. If you keep going straight downhill, the trail merges again with Peppergrass, right next to the concrete-covered reservoir on Greenleaf Ave.

Tried to ride A-line today. Very prominent no bike sign. A local mentioned to me that it's been closed for 'couple of months'

This can be a fun descent, but is usually littered with walkers which really takes away from the flow of the trail. Nothing kills a downhill like getting stuck behind a walker with headphones in who cannot hear a bell! Oct 26, 2016
