Description

Wooded to start out with, as you approach the tops of the Cathedral Hills, you start to get views out to Grants Pass and to the west, depending on where you are. The trail is flowy for the most part, smooth DG surface ranging from blue diamond hiking trails to black diamond woopiededoos through canyons, very well maintained. Some sections will get your blood pumping, especially the downhhill through the Bridges section, flowing down the sides of a narrow, heavily wooded canyon; essentially a very large pipe with trees and foot bridges. There are some rather large jumps in places which I can personally testify to hurting if you don't do them right. This is a very popular destination for the local community of equestrians and hikers, often with children, so please go out of your way to be courteous and safe.

Many options here. Take a look at the map at Espy Road before you head out if you're unfamiliar with the area.
