Trail shared by Jon Zanone

A great descent or a steady climb on a fairly well maintained fire road.

Description

Coming from either Hogback Valley Trail or Hogback Ridge Trail, this is a screaming descent to finish a steady climb. There will be lots of hikers, dogs, and the occasional group of horses, so stay in control! There are several large water bars to launch from, but pay attention to rain damage - gullies form easily in the red dirt! Bear right at the bottom to continue to Roundup Trail, or left for an easy route back to the parking area on Red Rock Canyon Trail.
