This singletrack winds through the Baxter subdivision and was originally laid out by the original subdivision developer. In some sections, you're right behind some of the houses' backyards. Overall, the trails have some tight, twisty sections, creek crossings, gut-busting climbs, and fast, flowy descents.
There are a bunch of side trails along the route that are easy to get lost on, so download the MTB Project mobile app
and bring it with you. If you're looking to ride with a local group, Tailwind Cycles (a great shop right across HW 160) leads group rides here. Check out their Ride Calendar
for dates and times.
After the ride, walk over to Six Pence Pub and hang out on the roof with a nice cold beer and some Scottish Eggs (you just burned all those calories off anyway).
Parking is in Baxter Village behind the Fish Market.
