A nice climbing test on interesting singletrack - the final jeep road climb is tough.

Overview

Description

From Podunk Road, the Bear Hill Trail starts South on sometimes wet doubletrack. It climbs, narrows and passes the Hedgehog Ledge Trail on the right. It continues climbing and makes a tricky stream crossing on rocks. After several more short climbs mixed with flatter sections the singletrack ends and T's into a steep doubletrack.

Turn right and climb strenuously up the doubletrack to the summit of Bear Hill. The trail turns left off the summit spur and make a fast, fun descent down to the Ferret Trail.
