“A nice climbing test on interesting singletrack - the final jeep road climb is tough.
”
From Podunk Road, the Bear Hill Trail starts South on sometimes wet doubletrack. It climbs, narrows and passes the Hedgehog Ledge Trail on the right. Turn right and climb strenuously up the doubletrack to the summit of Bear Hill. The trail turns left off the summit spur and make a fast, fun descent down to the Ferret Trail.
