Description

This used to be a top trail until 3 forest fires hit it in the last 11 years. The Las Conchas fire gave it a pretty good beating, so some maintenance is required out there now due to aspens growing everywhere after the burn.

The trail begins just past the parking area on FR36 on the left, and parallels the Dome road on the right side for a short while. From there it winds back and forth along the top of 3 mesas before ending back on FR36 about a mile down from the parking lot.

Hopefully we can coordinate a group to work on this trail in the spring of 2014 to restore it to its former glory.
