Description

This trail is best ridden counter-clockwise as shown.

The trail starts with a short climb and follows through the desert faintly at times (but I rode it for the first time after a heavy monsoon season - likely just needed to be traveled a bit). The brush is often close to the trail providing excellent exfoliation for your lower legs.

You may ask yourself why they call this Little Daytona, just be patient and enjoy the singletrack until you meet the wash. Entering the wash you'll head back east for about 1/2 mile of fairly fast riding with big banked turns - this is the "Daytona" section. Nothing to tell your grandkids about but fun non-the-less.

Be sure not to pass the entrance back onto the Twilight Loop Trail.

Took Daytona to Alternate and then back to the cars via twilight. Asthma beginning and rock hit leg. Still Fun Ride! See Twilight 3/22 for more. 1.7mi
