An extremely difficult descent.

Description

I rode this while exploring NW Bootleg area. I wasn't going to post it except I did see bike tracks and some other insane individuals do ride this trail.

If your bike skills are extremely polished, you get a thrill from living on the edge of healthy and hospitalized AND you have full body armour...then this trail is perfect for you!

Seriously, this one was a tad over my head, but I am sure there are plenty of folks who can manage this quite well. It's not particularly steep and no drops to speak of, just very difficult terrain with a price to pay for errors.

Forecasting the weather...

This trail should come with a stern warning. "If you want to punish yourself, procede" I had hit this trail after riding Skyline to Caldera to West Leg to Mother. I didn't expect to go this far and when I saw the sign for "the shit" I knew I was in for some punishment. I had already been bucked off my bike and after a full flip and nearly 8 feet of airtime I hit a gravel patch. Now if that wasn't enough punishment, here comes "the shit" I'm pretty good on a bike but this one just ate me up and spit me out. First and last time on that trail! Oct 15, 2015
