This is a short mile and a half connector between Panorama Trail and Timber Mesa Trail. The trail starts off on singletrack weaving through trees, but this is quickly interrupted by a really steep, really rocky uphill section. This too is short, but tough.

All tough uphill is always rewarded with downhill. Don't get going too fast or you'll miss the marker for the right turn that takes you on to the jeep road. From there it's all jeep road until you get to Timber Mesa. Watch out for huge puddles spanning the entire road during monsoon season.
