A fast and fun ride out to Bayo Point.

Taber West

Overview

Dogs: Off-leash

Description

This is generally an easy and fast ride out to Bayo Point and back. There are 2 short rock sections that are technical, but they are rideable. You start this trail at the round-a-bout on San Ildefonso St. and take the left most trail out to the point. On the way back, there are several short connectors over to Bayo Canyon trail to add some variety.

Dry - Make sure you go left at the fork in the trail at the beginning. If you go right you'll end up on the Bayo Descent which is very technical, and the only way back is to take the Bayo Climb (again, very technical). I digress. The Bayo Point trail is pretty fast with some technical parts mixed in, the trail is also pretty scenic with some nice viewpoints.
