Fort Ord National Monument trails (and roads) are closed from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.

Description

This old road (may turn into a trail some day) takes you from Hennekens Ranch Road to trail 91 across the top of a hill going by trails 96, 95, 94, 93 and 92 along the way. At the high point you have a great view over to Impossible City to the SE and Moss Landing on Monterey Bay to the NW as well as being able to see the old Fort Ord Army hospital (now the DOD building).

The descent/climb to/from Hennekens ranch road can be rutted and sandy at times and there is a cable at the end of the road so watch your speed. Take trail 92/93 to see why this is known as Little MOAB road.
