Easy fast riding through the Pocomoke State Forest

Description

This is the second of our latest sets of trails in the ESIMBA system. These singletrack trails are based on old logging roads through the Pocomoke State Forest. The trails tend to grow over in the Summer and will go back to singletrack after we clear them in the Fall. The trail name is likely to change after it's reviewed by local groups.

As the old road corridor grows in the singletrack trails should mostly sustain themselves. The trails are mostly flat with slight inclines and declines and, when open, are very fast. Be ready for some of that good Delmarva sand to poke through, too.

Summer months may show lots of ticks and Lyme's Disease is prevalent throughout Delmarva. Fall, Winter, and Spring provide some good fast long-distance riding for the region.

Easy trails through the forest. During the summer there is alot of vegetation growth on the trails, but still visible. Not heavily used, so be prepared to clear out some spider webs. Also,BUG spray is a most for this ride!! Aug 23, 2015
