Eagle Valley is primarily doubletrack with the exception of 0.3 miles of singletrack behind the Visitor Center, and a short section near the stables. From the Visitors Center, you'll head north on the Eagle Valley doubletrack. Around 1 mile in there is a 8% grade descent with switchbacks on loose gravel so take it easy. After that is a long steady climb paralleling a drainage to get your heart rate up and legs burning. The trail will fade to singletrack at the base of a large hill. From there you are back into onto the overlapping Declue Trail
that ascends back to the Visitor's Center.
Be on the lookout for equestrians and practice good trail etiquette.
