Description

Fitting to its name El Alto ("The High") gets you to the highest point in Curt Gowdy State Park.

This trail is more rideable going clockwise.

It is steep with extended technical sections. Huge slabs of granite allow for gravity defying traction both going up and down. If you enjoy physically demanding technical riding this trail is a must while visiting the park.

You gotta be an expert to ride up this. Down is not that bad, but up is a lot of hiking.
